Secure Connection VEGEMITE Jar

Vegemite is a nutritious and versatile Australian food. In fact, it's one of the world's richest sources of B group vitamins.

B vitamins assist in converting carbohydrate, protein and fat in food into much needed energy for the body. In addition, B vitamins are important for proper functioning of the nervous system, muscle and brain. Some B vitamins such as B6 and folate are required for production of red blood cells in the body, whereas niacin helps maintain healthy skin and a digestive tract.

A few years ago, I bottled five gallons (19 liters) of home-brew beer that I had accidentally put too much yeast in. Nobody would drink it but me and I developed a taste for it. Then I discovered Vegemite. Great stuff... tastes just like bad home-brew.
William from Huntington Beach California on November 06, 2005:
You've never had anything until you have: Peanut Butter, Butter,Vegimite and Cheese. Mix it up on white bread and it's worthy! An American who married an Aussie.
Hans from Amsterdam, the Netherlands on September 26, 2005:
Sorry, my question does not need to be answered any more. I did not expect to find any webpage about the Marmite/Vegemite controversy, but I found thousands of them. Now I will try for myself.
Hans on September 25, 2005:
Just curious. Has anyone tried both the British Marmite and the Australian Vegemite? Is it very different?
