Secure Connection VEGEMITE Jar

Vegemite is a nutritious and versatile Australian food. In fact, it's one of the world's richest sources of B group vitamins.

B vitamins assist in converting carbohydrate, protein and fat in food into much needed energy for the body. In addition, B vitamins are important for proper functioning of the nervous system, muscle and brain. Some B vitamins such as B6 and folate are required for production of red blood cells in the body, whereas niacin helps maintain healthy skin and a digestive tract.

Vegemite remains one of Australia's most popular foods, with more than 22 million jars sold each year.

"I can't thank all of you enough for your outstanding service. I placed my Vegemite order yesterday morning and have already received the package via FedEx. It arrived at approximately 9:30 am. I don't know how you do it, but you have made my Australian mother and me very happy! We have to eat Vegemite every day or we get rather irritable!! Thanks so much! Perhaps, we will try the meat pies next.

Thanks for the great service. All of the little extras help for missing home.

Is there many Aussies in Edmonton?

Anthony from Raleigh NC on June 29, 2007:
World Market were quick to take off vegemite off the shelves, but as you can see from pulling up news archives, vegemite is not banned in the US and the last news of it was in oct 2006. Copy the link below and paste it into your address bar of your web browser to find out.

OK here goes, I tried to get vegimite from a grocer a place called World Market, they use to sell it but now i have been told that it has been taken off the shelves again due to the FDA, i really don't know whats going on ,i don't mind getting from Simply OZ but it's a hassel for me to buy online, i would really like to know why the FDA has anything to do with Vegimite. It's the Aussie Traditional Food, can some one please help me with this.
Thankyou susan
