Marmite is a yeast extract with a flavoring that is very similar to Beef Broth. Used extensively in cooking, especially vegetarian cuisine it can also be used as a spread on toast or crumpets. As a spread use sparingly as it has a strong flavor. Marmite was introduced to Australia and New Zealand by Sanitarium. Initially it was imported from the United Kingdom but shortly before World War II, the secret recipe was secured from the English.

This is my favorite brand of marmite, as it is not so salty. Makes a great hot drink too. I got one for me and one for my daughter, both arrived quickly, well packed, and delicious. Thanks. PS--just wish you sold 500 gm jars, and maybe full cases of it too. I'd be your best customer.
