Airborne Honey's
Yes, we have different honey flavors. Just as different flowers have different scents or perfumes, so their nectars have different flavors. Honeybees collect nectar from flowers which they turn into honey. Enough nectar from one source and we have a distinctive honey flavor. The comment we get when people taste our honeys is that they "cannot believe the flavors can be so different". So "how do we train our bees?" you might ask. This is simpler than it sounds! The first method is to use geographic location. i.e. pick an area where there is only one type of nectar yielding plant flowering. Secondly, honey flows can be separated by the time of flowering of the target plant. This is done by removing all the honey from the hives just before the target plant starts flowering, and then harvesting it immediately after it finishes.

This honey comes from the lush clover pastures of Tasmania’s rich dairying farmlands. Meadow honey has a mild, delicate character and a very smooth finish. Unlike many other honeys, this has not been filtered or heated, so it comes to you as it is found; the pure natural flavours intact and a fine candied texture. If you prefer honey liquid, simply sit the tin in hot water until the contents clear.
