Simply Australian started in 1993 importing Australian goods under the name of Pan Pacific Trading Company. The first two products were Bindoon Boots from Western Australia and Rossi Boots from South Australia. Twelve months later the first retail store, trading as "Simply Australian" was under way, and then a few years later a second "downtown" store in Olympia was opened (which is now closed). The first website began about five years ago, in a very small way, with the aim of showing the Rossi Boots to the U.S. With the addition of the online shopping cart in September 2001, it has now become a major presence online for Australian imports, in particular, the Aussie food and candy.
Our goal is to give you, the consumer, the lowest prices possible. Two of the ways we are achieving that is by not producing a printed catalog (a costly item), and where possible, using recycled boxes and packing materials.
We take great care in packing your orders and aim to have them out within 24 hours.
Our special thanks to our webmaster, Luki, for his dedication to the job, care of the website and patience in teaching us "dummies" to use it.
